A native of Robbie Gould Women Jersey Webster, South Dakota, Brock Lesnar wrestled for two years at Bismarck State College, where he compiled a 56 3 record, winning the 1998 NJCAA heavyweight title. In 1998, Lesnar was recruited to wrestle at the University of Minnesota by head coach J Robinson (shown here with Lesnar).
When he came to Minnesota in January 1999, Brock Lesnar was THE talk of college wrestling, with his incredible physique and take no prisoners wrestling style (on display here, throwing Iowa Wes Hand). Dan Gable said of Lesnar: "When he strips off his warm ups, he turns more heads than Cindy Crawford in a thong." In college, Lesnar stood 6 3", with a 20" neck, 52" chest and 36" waist.
In his first year at Minnesota (1999 his junior year), Brock Lesnar lost only one regular season match (to Iowa State Trent Hynek). In the heavyweight finals of 1999 Big Ten championships, he beat Illinois Karl Roesler to win the conference title.
At the 1999 NCAA Division I championships, Brock Lesnar made Jared Allen Youth Jersey it to the heavyweight finals. where he went up against defending champ Stephen Neal (shown here) of Cal State Bakersfield, an incredible physical specimen himself at 6 and 285 lbs.
In the heavyweight finals at the 1999 NCAAs at Penn State, Stephen Neal defeated Brock Lesnar 3 2. denying the Minnesotan a national title as a junior, who finished the year 24 2.
During his senior season (2000), Brock Lesnar lost only one regular season match. to Iowa Wes Hand. Lesnar got revenge, beating the Hawkeye in the finals of the 2000 Big Ten championships (shown here). winning his second conference crown.
